The awards
The Boehringer Ingelheim APOPIS Awards for young researchers honours young scientists for their efforts in investigating abnormal protein aggregation in neurodegenerative diseases carried out under the APOPIS research project (Abnormal proteins in the pathogenesis of neurodegenerative diseases). The award is sponsored by Boehringer Ingelheim.
The Boehringer Ingelheim APOPIS Awards are presented in recognition of outstanding scientific achievements within the EU-funded
APOPIS research project.
VERUM Foundation
is the organiser and coordinator.
About APOPIS
APOPIS is an integrated project funded by the European Union under the Sixth Framework Programme. It was started in January 2004.

2006 Boehringer Ingelheim APOPIS Awards
